Description:Philips SGS204 near Beckton Roundabout

At the end of the A406, just before Beckton Roundabout, the double-bracket Iridiums end and SGS203/4s on these octagonal steel columns take over. These were the only lanterns on this stretch which did not get replaced by Iridiums, and I'm pretty glad about that to be honest! I took a picture of one of the SGS204s, because they're a lantern that is gradually becoming rarer and rarer on Britain's roads!
