Description:Standard pedestrian crossing, Raheny, Dublin

There are zig-zag markings seen here, always present on British crossings, which is a good surprise to see which these are far and between in Ireland! Although earlier this year the markings at this crossing were not there so these would have been painted on fairly recently which might mean zig-zags must be painted on Irish crossings from now on.

The traffic lights here seem to be really old Mellors dating back possibly to the 70s/80s as the white borders already have faded away.
