Description:Sutton Road Bridge, Hull Carrying Sutton Road over the River Hull, this is a Scherzer type rolling lift bridge. Built in 1939 by the Cleveland Bridge and Engineering Co, it has elegant Art Deco / Neo-Georgian style operating houses, one of which can be seen here, viewed from the western bank of the river.
