Public transport onward connections are confined to a four times weekly bus service to Kilkeel (Tuesday and Thursday) which passes the end of Greencastle Pier Road, two kms distance away. Otherwise, it is a five km schlep to the A2 for an hourly No 39 Ulsterbus service to Newry or Kilkeel.
