Description:The M8 southwest along the Galtees.

The M8 southwest along the Galtees. While the landscaping along the Cashel-Mitchelstown scheme is very poor, on a clear day the route offers stupendous views of the Galtees, Knockmealdowns, the Golden Vale, and even, on sharp days, Slievenamon and the Comeraghs.
