Description:Typical motorway scene

Except for a few very short sections, all Irish motorways are D2M and look something like this picture. This particular strech has changed with the works to tie in the M50 (visible on the right of the picture). Irish motorways do have emergency phones, but with the exception of the M50, tend not to have matrix displays of any kind.
