Description:The Verkehrsturm regulated traffic on Potsdamer Platz in Berlin in the 1920s when the square was one the most frequented in Europe and traffic signals a brand new technology. When it was placed right in the middle of the junction in 1924 it was the first of its kind in Berlin and the second one in Germany.
