Fingland Bridge carries the B709 across the River White Esk near Nether Cassock. The bridge is a single span stone arch bridge, which is unusually wide for bridges on the B709, as it carries a wide S2 carriageway with grassy verges inside the parapets. The river at this point is narrow and remarkably straight for around a kilometre, suggesting it has been managed at some point in the past to improve the surrounding farmland. It is likely that the bridge dates from this time, although both straight river and bridge are shown on the 1857 OS Six Inch Map, suggesting that the improvements were carried out a long time ago.
