Fishbourne Roundabout is the west-most roundabout on the A27 Chichester Bypass. It's the first roundabout on the south coast road since St Leonards on the A31.

It was the originally planned eastern terminus of the M27 motorway, however the between this roundabout and the M27 the road is designed alike a motorway with there only being a sparse amount of junctions, all are GSJ.

The end of the Chichester bypass has always been in Fishbourne, originally it just merged back onto its old route at a t junction and crossroads with the A259
With the new A27 section being built from Havant there were many changes to the roads in Fishbourne, this included cutting off the T-junction and crossroads and replacing it with the Fishbourne roundabout to the east, here the A259 crosses over the A27 using some other new built roads and a new bridge over the railway, replacing the old level crossing.
It seems that the M27 will never get to Fishbourne due to the limitations on the current bypass route, however if a new bypass is built to the north of Chichester it would leave the A27 west of Fishbourne
