Fontwell West Roundabout is a roundabout on the A27 where the A29 runs in duplex with the A27.
The roundabout was created in 1989 as part of the Fontwell Bypass, although it is in the position of an existing junction with the A29 Fontwell Avenue. Rather than heading north as it does now, the A29 used to travel slightly east before heading up London Road.
Despite the Fontwell Bypass being named as such, the historic centre of Fontwell is actually to the west of here, on the current A27. The bypass only passes the more modern residential area.
Traffic signals were installed at the roundabout at the end of 2022 / start of 2023
