Forge Wood Junction is a Half Diamond junction on the A2011 and the B2036 in Crawley. It was built in 1975 along with the M23. Due to its proximity to M23 J10 it is only a half diamond with slip roads onto the A2011 which terminate at T Junctions on the B2036 on west side only as J10 is immediately to the right. The B2036 goes under the A2011 using a two span bridge, where the road only uses one span for potentially dueling in the future which looks unlikely for the foreseeable future.
In the late 2010s as a result of a new neighborhood of Crawley being built north of the A2011 and west of the M23 called Forge Wood the junction needed to be altered for new neighborhood traffic, this was done using an all movements junction, closing of the existing slip roads and replaced with a traffic light controlled T junction on the north side. Here there will be another controlled T Junction which would lead into either the neighborhood or towards the B2036 where there would be another controlled T junction.
