Fosdyke Bridge crosses the River Welland on the A17 at Fosdyke.
This bridge was originally the responsibility of the Highways Agency, however, it passed to local authority control following the detrunking of the road in the early 2000s.
History
The 3 span bridge, together with 150m road re-alignment either side, was opened on 4 May 1990 per the Land Compensation Act notice (but 7 May 1990 per the Spalding Guardian). It had been open was for one-way traffic since 23 February 1990. Contractor was Christiani and Neilsen, cost £2.7 million.
