Four Lamps is roundabout on the edge of Midsummer Common, Cambridge.
Its name comes from a pub name that was nearby.
In 1975 nine heifers escaped from the Common and set up camp on the four lamps roundabout - it took a gang of citizens to drive them back onto the Common 1
