Foxholes Roundabout is a roundabout on the A414 in Hertford.
It was built at the same time as the A414 link to Rush Green to allow the A10 to serve Hertford (late 70s?). The roundabout marks the point where the on-line upgrade of London Road ends, and the new build road starts. London road itself (the B1197, but formerly the A602) heads in a more southerly direction to meet the former A10 (now A1170) at Hoddesdon.
When it opened, it was subject to national speed limit, but in the 2010s, a 40mph speed limit was applied to the roundabout as a result of the increasing number of children crossing the road in the area from new estates to the north of the dual carriageway walking to schools on the south side of the town.
