Gallery:A1
The A1 / A406 junction as seen on a 1995 A to Z London map was to be improved (by I believe) a flyover & side roads. Unfortunately, it was transferred to TfL and subsequently shelved.

Originally uploaded to Coppermine on May 23, 2007 by Mark Hewitttaken May 19th, this shows the new carriageway surface on lanes 1 and 2, which is probably part of the upcoming works at Wetherby just a few miles north. Perhaps lane 3 will be resurfaced soon, as the cones are still there, but for now it makes a symmetrical pattern!
