Taken from just south of the A101/A13 junction near Limehouse. Here traffic for the tunnel queues at the lights at the Totso with Branch Road. Note prohibitions sign. Bridge for DLR in foreground.

The archway is made from the actual cutting gear which built the tunnel, and serves to stop high vehicles from getting stuck in the tunnel itself.

Note the single white centre line

Taken from above the north portal - behind the wall across the road can be glimpsed traffic on the approach to the Limehouse Link Tunnel, whose portal is visible in the background.

Note again the single white centre line, and the markings for the speed cameras (the limit is 20mph)
