A228 West Malling Bypass - Coppermine - 18225.jpg
A228 West Malling Bypass

The recently dualled West Malling bypass on a rare sunny afternoon last week. Heading north from Kings Hill towards the A20 at Leybourne. Note the imposition of a 50mph limit, probably because the upgrade includes 2 sets of traffic lights on this section. NSL applied when the original S2 bypass was built. Taken 24th May 2008.

M2 Medway Bridge

A photo taken a couple of summers ago of the M2 Medway Bridge. This shows the original bridge converted for coastbound-only running, and was taken from the A228 overbridge.

Regent Petrol Station, A228 With what looks a little too much like an old Pepsi logo on the pumps is this garage. The beauty of it was that attendants fill up your tank for you, in 25 years of driving I've only come across it 4 times in England, it's a lot more common in Ireland.
