A3009 Esher Green (the UKs shortest A-road) - Coppermine - 554.JPG
A3009 Esher Green (the UK's shortest A-road?)

In this view can be seen the entire length of the A3009. It runs from the war memorial to a junction with the High Street seen about 100 yards away: the half timbered building is on the other side of the junction. The A3009 carries traffic coming into Esher from the A244 from the Walton on Thmes direction (behind the photographer). The A244 itself, between the High Street and the War Memorial, is a one way street in the other direction, approaching from the photographer's right.
