Silk Mills Bridge

Silk Mills Bridge in Taunton, opened in 2005 to replace a level crossing and a common cause of hold ups on the A3065 - the road linking the A38 and the A358. The road alongside the railway is a new one to serve the Fairwater Freight Yard.

Taunton Pointless traffic lights #1

This pointless set of traffic lights is on Silk Mills Lane (A3065) in Taunton. They are at a junction with two minor roads which have never had much traffic, and have caused far more congestion on this stretch of road than before.

Taunton Pointless traffic lights #2

This pointless set of traffic lights is on Silk Mills Lane (A3065) in Taunton. They are at a junction which formerly only had queues at times when the (now bypassed) level crossing was down.
