The link road to the Barnstaple bypass. The future course of the A3125 can be seen running along a new link road, via a large roundabout, before returning to the original A3125 at the top of Sticklepath Hill.

Due to the construction of the new Barnstaple bypass, the South West Coast Path has been diverted down here. Not very scenic, but hey, you get to walk through a road construction site!

On the left - the A3125 last summer, with a large section fenced off. On the right - today (same area, picture taken from different place). Pedestrians can now completely access the new area.
