Arched columns about to bite the dust
These columns on the A459 between Dudley and Netherton are among the last remaining in the area. When these go the only ones remaining are a couple further along the A459 towards Gornal. All the other installations were replaced a couple of months ago.

Sedgley, Bull Ring The centre of village life; coming from Wolverhampton and Bilston, with roads to Dudley, Tipton and Gospel End ahead.
British Trolleybuses - Wolverhampton This is Bilston Street, the terminus of the last trolleybus route in the town, which ran out to Dudley. The street is now pedestrianised and some other interesting changes have taken place. The building on the right, formerly The Garrick P.H. and now a building society, has lost the two left hand bays to redevelopment. The other building behind the trolleybus has been replaced, although the design is remarkably similar to the lower two floors of the one in the picture.
British Trolleybuses - Wolverhampton
The trolleybus is climbing up Wolverhampton Road East towards Sedgley on its way from Wolverhampton towards Dudley. The houses behind are typical tween-wars semi-detached development.
Candela Aeroform lanterns with Candela Bowman brackets. This is in Sedgley, and these are some of the only few non-LED street lights in the area now.
Just off the A459 in Sedgley. Strangely the column with the WRTL 2600 has never been removed. At first it seems as if the newer column with the Holophane Estilo is a brand new replacement thats very recently been installed, but apparently it turns out that the Estilo has been there since 2016 at least, probably even longer than that. Both of these lanterns run on cosmo lamps.
Candela Aeroform lantern with a Candela Bowman bracket. This is in Sedgley, where everything else is pretty much LED now, apart from this kind of street light.
Philips MA50 on a 10m grey coloured steel column. This is on the A459 coming into Blakenhall, south of Wolverhampton.
Along the A459 coming into Sedgley town centre. The street lights seen here have Candela Aeroform lanterns and Candela Bowman brackets.
Side-entry Philips Unistreet on a 10m post along the A459. This is between Dudley and Sedgley. The lantern is not the original for this column and bracket.
Philips Digistreet along the A459 in Sedgley. Previously this used to be a slightly longer bracket with a bowled Urbis ZX1, which was pretty much half the size of the Digistreet.
Philips Digistreets (LED) along the B4558 between Dudley and Sedgley, just before the road becomes the A459. They replaced Philips SGS306s (SON) back in around 2018.
Philips Unistreets along the A459 between Dudley and Sedgley. The previous lanterns were Urbis ZX1s with deep bowls.
Philips Unistreets and Urbis Ampera Maxis along the A459 between Dudley and Sedgley. Strange that they've used the biggest version of Amperas on a road a like this, as it isn't really that wide. The previous lanterns were Urbis ZX1s with deep bowls.

Windsor Kirium Pro (LED) and Thorn Alpha 5 (SOX) along the A459 in Blakenhall, Wolverhampton. The columns and brackets I believe have been there since the 1970s at least, and I think the Alpha 5s are probably the original lanterns as well.
Windsor Kirium Pro (LED) and Philips Digistreet (LED) along the A459 in Blakenhall, Wolverhampton. The column with the Kirium Pro I believe has been there since the 1970s at least, and the post-top column with the Digistreet is a casual replacement which would of replaced another one of the 1970s style street lights. The previous lanterns would of been Thorn Alpha 5s (SOX), which were probably the originals for the older columns as well.

Philips Digistreet (LED) lantern on an outreach bracket, along the A459 in Sedgley. The column is around 10 metres tall and the previous lantern I believe was an Industria Vectra (SON/HPS), which got replaced in 2018.
Philips Digistreet (LED) lanterns along the A459 in Sedgley. I think the brackets may have been cut back with these couple of columns, which are around 10 metres tall. The previous lanterns were Industria Vectras (SON/HPS), which got replaced in 2018.
