New street light column, casual replacement in Willenhall, Staffordshire. Its not often you see new sodium lanterns used for street lighting replacements anymore. Interesting as well how they've used the same bracket from the previous installation.

Just heading out of New Invention, along the A462, main road from Willenhall to Cannock. This is a fairly new column with a Philips Iridium lantern. It was only installed a few months ago.

Lane Head Bridge, Wyrley and Essington Canal A rather weak rainbow forms an arch over the bridge that carries the A462 over the canal. Through the bridge a narrowboat can be seen, moored outside the United Kingdom Inn.

Phosco P862 lanterns now light the M6 from J10 to J10a (M54 junction) since 2018. From 2019 they've since installed more of these lanterns from J10a to J11a (M6 Toll junction) as well. Picture taken in 2018.
