The Lyttelton Arms, Bromsgrove Road (C) P L Chadwick
A very large pub of the type often described as a gastropub. It takes its name from the Lyttelton family, who lived at nearby Hagley Hall.

Stourbridge ring-road. 10 metre columns that date back to the late 1960s. This column has a WRTL Arc lantern, a casual replacement. The blue coloured column in the background has a Holophane Estilo lantern. The original lanterns would of all been LPS/SOX.
The ring-road of Stourbridge town centre. Apparently the street lights (both lanterns and columns) along here are to be replaced, if not done so already.
Along the A491 in Stourbridge, at the junction for Vicarage Rd. Older street lights seen here, with lanterns such as WRTL/Industria Arc 90s (HPS/SON) and GEC Z9554s (LPS/SOX). This photo was taken in February 2019, and since then I've been told that these street lights have now been renewed with new LEDs.
Along the A491 in Stourbridge, at the junction for Vicarage Rd. Older street lights seen here, lanterns such as a GEC Z9554 (left) and an Industria/WRTL Arc 90 (right). This photo was taken in February 2019, and since then I've been told that these street lights have now been renewed with new LEDs.
A new column with a twin bracket and Urbis Ampera Maxi lanterns, installed earlier this year. This is around Stourbridge town centre ring-road, and the previously this was a shorter column with another twin bracket but with WRTL Arc 90 lanterns.
One of the new Thorn R2L2 lanterns in central Stourbridge. This replaced a GEC Z9554, just like the rest. Rather than replace the column they just shortened the bracket instead.
New Urbis Amperas and Thorn R2L2s in Stourbridge. This is just on the town-centre ring-road. The Amperas are on the new twin-bracket column, and the R2L2s are on the old late 1960s columns.
Along the A491 heading out of Stourbridge towards Kingswinford. The street lights have since been upgraded and the new LED lanterns are Urbis Axia 2s. The previous lanterns were a mixture of WRTL Arc 90s (SON/HPS) and GEC Z9554s (SOX/LPS).
Along the A491 through Kingswinford. This is an odd sleeved concrete column still yet to be removed, where as the rest of the concretes on this stretch of road have been replaced. The lantern is a WRTL Vectra (HPS/SON), but wouldn't have been the original for this column. In the background you can see the new 12m post-top steel columns that replaced the old street lights, and the lanterns are Urbis Ampera Maxis (LED).
Philips Unistreets and old sleeved concrete street lights along the A491 between Stourbridge and Kingswinford. The previous lanterns were Philips MA50s.
Philips Unistreet on a 10m sleeved concrete column in the foreground, and in the background are Philips Digistreets on brand new 12m post-top steel columns, all of which are LED. The new posts would of replaced concretes just like the one with the Unistreet, and the old lanterns were all WRTL/Industria Vectras (SON). This is along the A491 between Stourbridge and Kingswinford, heading to Wolverhampton.
An 8m sleeved concrete column with a Philips Digistreet (LED), just off the A491 at a junction in Kingswinford. The previous lantern was a Phosco P567 (SON).
Heading up the hill to Kingswinford, which is along High Street (A491) coming from Stourbridge. This is also just at the junction for the B4180 as well, which goes to Brierley Hill, to the right.
Along the A491 in Kingswinford. All of the other street lights along this road are now LED, but this odd WRTL Vectra (HPS/SON) is still yet to be replaced. The 10m column might get replaced as well at some point, for a taller 12m one instead, if not done so already.
Old late 1960s twin-bracket street light with new Urbis Axia 2 (LED) lanterns, which were previously GEC Z9554s (SOX/LPS).
Urbis Axia 2 and Philips Unistreet lanterns along the A491, heading from Stourbridge to Wolverhampton. These lanterns are both new and LED. The Axia 2s along this road replaced SOX/LPS lanterns, and the Unistreets replaced WRTL Arc 90s.
One old street light that was still yet to be replaced at the time, along Stourbridge central ring-road. It is a 10m late 1960s column and bracket, but the lantern is a more modern WRTL/Industria Arc 90 (SON), which would of been a casual replacement. All of the original lanterns I believe would of been Revo Hyperions (SOX). As of now, I imagine this last remaining old street light has probably been replaced by now, for another 12m post-top column with an Urbis Ampera Maxi (LED), like the rest seen in the background.
3-chevron Holophane V-Max (LED) lanterns along Stourbridge central ring-road. I think these lanterns were original installed on to the old late 1960s columns at first, and then it seems they later replaced the old columns for new 12m post-top ones and re-used the same V-Max. There was one old column still left at the time as you can see, but its probably since been replaced now just like the rest. The previous lanterns were GEC Z9554s (SOX), but originally I think they would of been Revo Hyperions, which were also SOX.
New 12m steel post-top columns along Stourbridge ring-road. The lanterns are Philips Unistreets (LED). The old previous street lights were late 1960s 10m columns with GEC Z9554 (SOX/LPS) and Thorn Alpha 4 (SOX/LPS) lanterns, but originally probably would of been Revo Hyperions (SOX/LPS). The was only the odd couple of the original street lights still left at the time, but they may have been replaced by now.
Couple of the last remaining old street lights along Stourbridge ring-road. Now that its 2021, they're probably gone now, but they were still there in the Summer of 2020. They were 10 metres tall and installed in the late 1960s, and some had unusual twin brackets as you can see, where one arm was longer than the other and sometimes had two different types of lanterns. With this example seen here theres a Philips MA50 (SOX/LPS) on the longer arm and a Philips SGS203 (SON/HPS) on the short one. As for the new street lights seen in the background, those are 12m columns with short twin brackets and Philips Unistreet (LED) lanterns. The last few old columns have probably since been replaced for more of the same now.
Along the A491 between Stourbridge and Kingswinford, there was an old short street light with a Philips MA50 (SOX/LPS) lantern, back in the Summer of 2020. The are other street lights exactly the same along this road, but the rest now have Philips Unistreet (LED) lanterns, which means the last remaining MA50 has probably been replaced by now.
