Nice sign, shame about the yellow paint.
Originally uploaded to Coppermine on Aug 20, 2009 by kieronThis sign is on a traffic island at the A5268/A51 junction. As such, the number A51 does not benefit from brackets.

Originally uploaded to Coppermine on Mar 18, 2008 by Gavin A74Two primary A roads leave the roundabout here, not that you can tell from the picture. The sign for the road on the left reads Nantwich (A51), Whitchurch (A41) (sorry about the light), but is actually the A51.
The road in the centre of the picture is the A5268, leading to the Pepper Street car park and the road to Wrexham beyond it.
Originally uploaded to Coppermine on Jun 22, 2008 by kieronThis is an 'All through traffic' sign on the junction between two primary routes. Perhaps not for much longer, though.
Originally uploaded to Coppermine on Jun 22, 2008 by kieronApologies for the blurriness here on in. Going under the second railway bridge now, the new build ends shortly to pick up on an older road.
Originally uploaded to Coppermine on Mar 08, 2008 by rsorionboyThis stretch is called Power Station Road, and has been here for a long time as a quiet industrail estate road, until now. It's been recycled into a bypass.

Originally uploaded to Coppermine on Mar 08, 2008 by rsorionboyHeading southbound on the A51. Ahead is a new roundabout, left is the Rugeley bypass, and right is the original route into the town. We leave NSL behind, and do 40 for the time being.
Originally uploaded to Coppermine on Mar 08, 2008 by rsorionboyAs we turn on to the new road we are greeted with a 50 limit, which covers the whole stretch, except for 30 at junctions. On the right is a combined footpath/cyclepath. The litter appears to be accumulating, tut tut.
Originally uploaded to Coppermine on Mar 08, 2008 by rsorionboyAs we approach the roundabout, 30 signs can be seen in the distance.
Originally uploaded to Coppermine on Mar 08, 2008 by rsorionboyApproaching the roundabout. Left for Abbots Bromley, right for the town centre. We go straight over.
Originally uploaded to Coppermine on Mar 08, 2008 by rsorionboyHere we pass under two railway bridges in quick succession.
