A5104
A5104 patched sign
Note the use of both black and blue borders on the large sign. Note also that they still use 4 signs, even with white panels.

A close-up of the A5104 sign at http://www.sabre-roads.org.uk/gallery/albums/userpics/10637/normal_A5104_Saltney_Signpost.jpg to show the numbers more clearly.

This has been replaced by an idencical sign in green - C2r , December 2015
A sign on the A5104 in Saltney, which should really (a) be white, and (b) have the rest of the A549 patch removed from it.

Yellow stop sign
A stop sign with a yellow border at the end of the A5104.
Originally uploaded to Coppermine on Mar 20, 2007 by kieronPart of the A494/A5104 junction at Corwen, highlighting the stop sign with its yellow backing board.
New A55/A5104 junction (Warren Bank)
This shows the A55 ends of the new slip roads. Both have hard shoulders, which I imagine goes some way to explain the size of the work area.
New A55/A5104 junction (Warren Bank)
This is a view of the A55 to the west of the bridge (a view which hasn't been changed).
New A55/A5104 junction (Warren Bank)
This shows the view over the bridge. The road's a bit narrower, and the pavement a bit wider, the studs are in a different place and the centre line is solid.
New A55/A5104 junction (Warren Bank)
This shows the top of the new A55 off slip. It's hard to get a good picture of it because of the slope, but this is the start of the 2 lane section.
New A55/A5104 junction (Warren Bank)
This shows the new S2 bit of Lesters Lane. Yes, it is quite bendy. And no, I don't know why there's a huge pile of gravel in that field, although it's been there all year.
New A55/A5104 junction (Warren Bank)
This shows the top of the new on slip, complete with hard shoulder. In addition, you no longer need to go all the way to Llandegla to find the way to Caer. This is the only sign here which tells you, though.
New A55/A5104 junction (Warren Bank)
This shows the realigned off slip. It has a bit of a curve, but it doesn't look too bad as a roundabout approach.
New A55/A5104 junction (Warren Bank)
This shows the realigned on slip, complete with sharp bend. At least they didn't have to rebuild this slip road.
This is one of the faces of the prism sign at the A542/A5104 roundabout outside Llandegla. Unfortunately, the plate neglects to mention whether the issue is one of ice or snow drifts.
A pair of clearway signs in Llandegla (the clearway lasts until Rhydtalog, the next village along), with different language orders.
The most charitable explanation is that one of the signs was erected by (English first) Clwyd CC, the other by (Welsh first) Denbighshire CC.
New A55/A5104 junction (Warren Bank)
This shows the approach to the roundabout from the southern A5104. None of the signs I've seen suggest that there could be more than one roundabout here.
I don't know why there's a stripy pole there.Hidden categories:
