IMG 0604.JPG trafficvisions iridium speedstars.jpg
This is along the A5191 on the outskirts of Shrewsbury. Seen here are dark coloured post-top 10m steel columns with a Philips Iridium and Philips Traffic-Visions in the foreground, which are HPS/SON lanterns. The more stylish street lights in the background have Philips Speedstars (LED). The Iridium is a casual replacement and probably 5 to 15 years old. The Traffic-Visions look as if they've been there either since the late 1990s or early 2000s, and I think the Speedstars were installed some time around the early to mid 2010s.

IMG 0605.JPG trafficvision and speedstars.jpg
This is along the A5191 on the outskirts of Shrewsbury, just coming up to the roundabout with the A5112. Seen here is a post-top steel 10m column with a Philips Traffic-Vision (HPS/SON) in the foreground, and more stylish street lights with Philips Speedstars (LED) in the background. All these columns are painted a dark colour. The Traffic-Vision has probably been there since the late 1990s or early 2000s, and I think the Speedstars have been there since the early to mid 2010s.
