These signs are completely different to those used in Wales-which makes no differentiation by colour & Ireland which puts Gaelic in an old style font..
Note,lots of money is being spent by replacing all signs with bilingual ones now, rather than waiting until they reach the end of their life. And that sometimes primary destinations are gold on green, and other times patched green on white!!

An unusual POTM entry, as you can't see the actual road! But it should crop down well for the banner image.

This junction is a couple of miles north of Portree. The main A87 goes on to Uig.
Borve township is a minor turn to the right, while sweeping off to the left is the A850 to Dunvegan.
