A961 - southern terminus

A ferry terminal, and not much more. Shearings and other coach tour companies send their passengers here on the passenger only ferry from John o' Groats, and charter local buses on Orkney.

A961 to Burwick Most of the traffic heading out of Kirkwall on the A961 is making for the ferry terminal at St Margaret's Hope. Beyond that the road is virtually empty as it heads south across South Ronaldsay to Burwick.
