Prohibition sign at Barcaldine
A pre-Worboys prohibition sign at Barcaldine, photographed on 12 August 1991. These signs were not uncommon on minor roads in Argyll at that time. The full wording reads 'Prohibited - Locomotives, heavy motor cars and all motor vehicles with seats for more than 15 persons (except vehicles being used for the conveyance of goods to or from any premises on the road or for the purposes of agriculture or forestry in connection with any land adjacent to the road)'.
