Photo shows old plans for the Leigh Road junction with what is now the M3. To help with locating this, north is to the left and down, so the top of this plan is pointing towards the town centre. The red detail is pretty much where the M3 runs now, although the junctions were to be on the other side of Leigh Road. 'Stoneham Lane' on the left is now called 'Oakmount Road'; 'Northend Farm' is now Mount Drive; the road joining 'Stoneham Lane' next to the railway is Woodside Road, which was cut off when the Chandler's Ford bypass was built in the 1960s (the eastern part still exists in the Boyatt Wood industrial estate).
