Clay Lane joins from the left. A long straight lane to Gappah goes off to the right. An agricultural machinery dealer occupies the corner still here after five years SX8576 : Masons Tractors and Garden Machinery, Rixy park

I have followed other contributors in using the name Rixeypark. The current OS Explorer map labels the spot Rixpark Corner. The Devon A-Z (2009) says Rixeypark.

Chudleigh Road is also known as the B3193 and Claypit Lane. People seem to drive as fast as possible to get through this disrupted landscape.

The clay waste mound on the right is approaching a state that might be called landscaped. From the top it looks like this SX8576 : Clay waste on Rixey Park site. The rectangular shape ahead is a relatively small, isolated clay shed in SX8575 (no photo contributed). The wind-powered, solar-powered sign is warning of near-freezing temperatures.
