Beddingham Roundabout The Newhaven road leaves the A27.
Beddingham Roundabout View westwards across the newly improved section of the A27 from the junction with the A26. The lane has now doubled heading west and the level crossing has been removed and replaced by a bridge.

Old A27 7 - Near Roundabout
This is part of the layby. There are two entrances at this end. One to the A27 (right) and one to the A26 (ahead). Roundabout is just visible and the queue is probably partly for the level crossing, 500 yards from the roundabout on the A27. Not sure of the original route here, as the roundabout is early 1990's.
