September 2009, the A48/A40 roundabout at Carmarthen is undergoing a make-over. The width is being reduced and I wonder if lights are going to be installed to aleviate the queueing problem on the A48.

Horticultural Sculpture There are two of these stylized fish on the outside of this traffic island, on the A4242 Morfa Lane junction, to the left in the distance is the old stone Carmarthen bridge, next is the new slimline pedestrian bridge that links rail travellers to the town, on the right is a small piece of the Afon Towy.
