Note the turnback facility for prohibited traffic up and around over the mouth of the tunnel. The tunnel is of the immersed tube variety.

This is probably a record for the number of lanes signed on a gantry in RoI. The recently-completed Kinsale Road flyover in the background replaced a very congested roundabout.

Eastbound. This is the last grade-separated junction on the newly-extended section of the Cork South Ring. The older N25 section of the South Ring still has two roundabouts yet to be upgraded.

The N71 is the main route to West Cork. Currently this junction is a roundabout, but there are plans for an upgrade to a grade-separated junction.

Bachelors Quay in Cork City. Part of the Cork inner ring road system. There is a sign on the left hand side for this in its usual style which indicates junction 21. The bridge ahead is called Griffith Bridge, and if you cross that you head onto Shandon Street. Across the river on the left hand side is the R846 North Mall.
