Pedestrian crossing This gap in the double-sided Open Box Beam crash barriers on the busy A15 south of Glinton are necessary to allow bus passengers to cross to and from the adjacent bus stops. This road is still the direct way into Peterborough City Centre, although the other leg of the A15 which passes under the footbridge is now probably faster.

A449 bridges a farm access road The Armco barriers on the right hand side and reduced verge act as 'tell tales' for the bridge's position over a farm access near Treworgan Common. The safety fence in the middle of the road is a Wire Rope Safety Fence (WRSF).
Improved temporary barrier at Wyther Lane bridge - Geograph - 6781132.jpg
Improved temporary barrier at Wyther Lane bridge Three days after the bridge was damaged, the initial barrier replacing the lost parapet 6779657 has already been replaced by a more solid, continuous segmental concrete barrier. This could now be in place for some time while a permanent repair is planned and executed. A local residents' group has already started a petition to campaign for a better replacement bridge, though given its listed status that might not be successful.
