Philips Digistreet lanterns along the A449, northern outskirts of Wolverhampton. Some of these new columns have double brackets for 2 lanterns now, due to the widening and alterations that were made along this stretch of road.
At the bus stop, outside the Elephant & Castle junction. Philips Digistreets (LED) and WRTL Arcs (HPS/SON). Used to be all 1980s Simplex Jupiters around this junction at one time.
Along the Birmingham New Road in the south of Wolverhampton. Street light replacement scheme taking place here now. The new lights are post-top columns with Philips Digistreets (LED), and the old ones are 1970s posts and brackets with 1990s Philips Traffic-Visions (HPS/S0N), along with one Philips Luma (LED) being replaced as well. Apparently the original 1970s lanterns here were Thorn Alpha 5s (LPS/S0X) from what I’ve been told.
Along the Birmingham New Road in the south of Wolverhampton. Here is a day-burning Philips Luma and an older column being replaced. The new lantern is post-top and a Philips Digistreet, which is also LED just like the Luma. The other older lanterns in the background are Philips Traffic-Visions (SON/HPS), which is what the Luma replaced a few years ago.
Along the Birmingham New Road in the south of Wolverhampton. Street light replacements taking place. This one example here is a new steel post-top with a Philips Digistreet (LED), replacing an older steel column with a Philips Traffic-Vision (SON/HPS) and a big long outreach bracket. This older street light looks like its been there since the 1990s at least, or possibly even the 1980s, so whether the Traffic-Vision was the original lantern or not I don't know. Its a shame to see these big long brackets go anyway, as you don't see street lights like this being used anymore.
Along the Birmingham New Road in the south of Wolverhampton. Street lighting replacements, with new post-top columns and Philips Digistreets (LED) being installed, and old 1970s street lights with 1990s Philips Traffic-Visions (SON/HPS) being replaced. Seeing the conditions that some of the older street lights are in its understandable why they're being replaced, like with that one bent bracket for example.
Along the Birmingham New Road in the south of Wolverhampton. Street light replacements, with new steel post-top posts with Philips Digistreets (LED), replacing older columns with Philips Traffic-Visions (SON/HPS) and big long outreach brackets. The older lanterns were installed in the 1990s, and columns and brackets could have been installed in the 1980s, so the Traffic-Visions may not have been the original lanterns. Shame to still see these street lights go anyway, as they still look like they're in good condition as well.
Along the Birmingham New Road in the south of Wolverhampton. Street lighting replacements, with post-top Philips Digistreets (LED) replacing 1990s Philips Traffic-Visions (HPS/S0N) and old 1970s columns and brackets. This is a closer shot of the damaged bent bracket. Not sure exactly what could of caused this, whether it be due to windy weather, a vehicle hitting the post, or if the lantern is just too heavy, but its been like it since 2011 at least, possibly even longer than that.
Philips Digistreets and old sleeved concrete street lights along the A458 in Halesowen. The previous lanterns were Philips MA50s. The Industria/WRTL Vectras on the zebra crossing are still yet to be replaced.
These are old 1970s style columns with outreach brackets, but the lanterns are newer and LED. The Philips Digistreets were installed in 2018, and previously the lanterns were GEC Z9554s (SOX/LPS).

WRTL Arc 80 lantern in Brierley Hill. Around Dudley all of these side-road ones on 6m columns all run on cosmo lamps. You can also a Philips Digistreet in the background as well, which would replaced an Arc 90, the bigger versions.

Philips Unistreet on a 10m sleeved concrete column in the foreground, and in the background are Philips Digistreets on brand new 12m post-top steel columns, all of which are LED. The new posts would of replaced concretes just like the one with the Unistreet, and the old lanterns were all WRTL/Industria Vectras (SON). This is along the A491 between Stourbridge and Kingswinford, heading to Wolverhampton.
An 8m sleeved concrete column with a Philips Digistreet (LED), just off the A491 at a junction in Kingswinford. The previous lantern was a Phosco P567 (SON).
Along the Bridgnorth Rd in Compton, Wolverhampton. In the foreground is a 1960s style columns with a Windsor Kirium Pro (LED), and then theres a post-top casual replacement column with a Philips Digistreet (LED) in the background which would of been installed around 2018/19. The Kirium has only been installed this year and replaced what I believe was an Eleco GR2 (SOX).

Philips Digistreet along the A459 in Sedgley. Previously this used to be a slightly longer bracket with a bowled Urbis ZX1, which was pretty much half the size of the Digistreet.
The street light replacements along the A4123 in Wolverhampton. The example seen here is an old 1970s column with a longer bracket and a 1990s Philips SGS306 (HPS/SON), being replaced for a new post-top steel column and Philips Digistreet (LED). Both the old and new columns are 12 metres tall, but nearly all the other old ones have short brackets.
