Here's my second nomination - the other end of the A2! :-) The Dover end this time, and not my picture - it was submitted by Brenley Corner, but since it is summer and we're all heading off on our holidays, I thought a photo of Dover Docks, the ferries and not one but 2 major roads (A2 and A20) would be apt.

Folkestone Road in Dover, with a pedestrian crossing. On the cliff in the background is Dover Castle.
A road with shops to the north side, from junction with High Street (left) and Priory Road (right).
Looking along Priory Road from its junction with Norman Street. The distinctive building with the clock is the town hall.
The footpath in the foreground is part of the Saxon Shore Way, also the North Downs Way. Behind is the main road of the area, the A20 from Dover. Behind that is Shakespeare Cliff.
At its junction with Coombe Valley Road. Only the right hand carriageway of the road ahead was open to traffic as the left hand carriageway was cordoned off due to the laying of replacement sewer and gas mains. The converted mill building lies in Lorne Road.
On a clear day the views of the French coast and the channel are very good from this point.
This dual carriageway leads up from Dover and Dover Eastern Docks (and the ferries from France) towards a town on the outskirts of Dover. Then the road heads towards Canterbury and London.
This dual carriageway leads from Canterbury down towards Dover Eastern Docks in Dover Harbour.
Viewed from the cliffs above the access road into Dover Eastern Docks is reminiscent of a Scalelectric track.

The spoil dug from the tunnel was used to create a new tract of land about 0.5km deep and 1.5km long; it has been designated a nature reserve and is open to the public for leisure such as walking or fishing The area is accessed through this same single-track tunnel.
