Dublin Port
An old sign for J79 of the Dublin Outer Orbital, on North Wall Quay. It's so old, it totally misses that the M50 is now on the left.
Note the unusual motorway regulations sign and the lack of destinations on the motorway. I was surprised how little warning was given that the tunnel is closed. Still doesn't excuse the vehicles doing u-turns on the dual carriageway.
I do like that internal flyover in the foreground.
Gantry and traffic lights on the closed road set to deter any traffic from continuing. The road sweeps round towards the toll booth in the distance.
New Wapping St/North Wall Quay Dublin 1
Sign pointing to one of the terminals. This whole area will be unrecognisable in a few years so I thought I should get some pics!

Sign directing travellers towards the port. The building behind is a former railway station of the Midland and Great Western Railway of Ireland! and a fine building it is too. It's listed and may form one of the entrances to a new underground system station which is planned for construction c 2010.

New gantry signs at the exit from Dublin Port. A VMS tells people to 'drive with care' (when the tunnel is open).
