The first tunnel on the A81 south of Singen, just short of the end of motorway and the Swiss border.

D A81 exit left

I believe this is the only exit to the left on the German Autobahn network (although there are plenty of 'TOTSOs' at motorway interchanges).

The A81 has moved somewhat - formerly following the route of the A81/A831 route direct towards Stuttgart, it now 'multiplexes' and heads west of Stuttgart. The signage is not clear about that, though.

A81-GER Lists distances to major cities along the route. Distances to other nearby major cities accessible from an intersecting Autobahn are listed at the bottom with the respective route number
