The sign does not conform to the signs manual but that's another debate. Its one of the better gantry signs in Ireland. The R132 is the 'old N1' road wherever it is superceded with the M1 (except the Swords Bypass which presumably is now unclassified dual carriageway, even though the old N1 signs are still up).
