New steel column and Urbis Altra fluorescent lantern installed in 2019. Not LED for once. The old street light that was here was a concrete column and Philips MI50 lantern.

Brand new post-top steel columns and Holophane V-Max (LED) lanterns along Olde Hall Road in Featherstone. Previously this was a 5/4 metre concrete column with a Philips MI26 (LPS/SOX) lantern. In the distance you can just about see one surviving Urbis Altra (fluorescent) lantern which hasn't been replaced yet.

WRTL Iris fluorescent lantern in the village of Featherstone, South Staffs. Its around 20 years old now and has very recently started day-burning, more than likely due to the cell being faulty.

The older lights seen here are post-mounted Urbis Altras (fluorescent) and another 8m steel post but with a bracket and an Industria Vectra (SON/HPS). Theres a lot more of these columns with Vectras along this road as well, further back in the village.

Brand new 6m steel column with an Urbis Altra (fluorescent) lantern in Featherstone. This replaced a sleeved concrete column, also 6 metres tall, with a WRTL Iris (fluorescent). The rest of the old street lights along this road still remain.

This is in Featherstone, South Staffordshire. Close up of a WRTL 2500 lantern from a distance. It is fluorescent and was not the original lantern for this column. I think its an 1980s column, so the original lantern was probably either an LPS/SOX type or maybe even a mercury one.
