As part of this the traffic lights at the junction of the A82 and A830 at Lochy Bridge have been replaced by a temporary mini-roundabout with a temporary Puffin crossing a short distance on the town side of the junction. Several bridges have been built as part of the track.

Originally uploaded to Coppermine on Sep 03, 2007 by J--M--BSome years ago the roads either side of the traffic lights at the junction of the A82 and A830 were resurfaced with some sort of surface with presumably a better grips. This has been detiorating for some years and is now quite rough. Is this normal for this type of surface? Does it indicate poor design? poor workmanship? poor maintenance?
