Gallery:Gates Corner
Looking east towards the site of the old A11/A406 junction, Gates Corner. Since the A406 was widened during the M11 works, the A11 High Road Woodford Green no longer has access and in recent years the latter has been renumbered A1199 (a duplicate of a road in Islington).

Approach signage for Charlie Brown's Roundabout and the bridge carrying the A1199 (old A11) High Road Woodford Green (no access between the two roads). This was the site of Gates Corner junction till the late 1970s.

The building work on the left hand side is to replace the three Queen Mary College halls of residence towers with medium density residential.
