Zoom-in from A1303 overbridge showing sign for the A14 junction (Girton). However, as there is no access to the A428, you have to turn off at J13 to head west.

Looking west from the A1307 towards the diverge between M11 and A14(N) traffic. M11/A14(N) can be seen crossing the A14/A428 up ahead. Streetlight replacment at the junction, as well roadworks up ahead on the A428(E) give a Sabristic feel to the whole scene!

Looking north towards start of the dual section over the A14/A428 at Girton junction. The A1307 soon turns into the A14 (N). This road used to be the A604, and a very long time ago the old A132.

Looking north from bridge over A14/A428, with the A14(S) visible in the background. The A1307 splits here, with the n/bound going under the A14(N)/M11 mainline (qv.). Note bus lane, which actually peters out only a short distance south of the junction.

Taken from the Dry Drayton/Oakington overbridge. Notice 1) M11 in wrong font on nearest sign 2) London signed via M11(A10) on the second (blue) sign -- not very politically correct! 3) Stansted aeroplane is pointing the wrong way on the second sign
