Approaching Great Linford roundabout

Old signs still left in MK (1)

Back in the early 80's, some bright spark had the idea to have the areas of Milton Keynes on the road signs with their MK postcode, but it confused many and eventually they were all replaced. Except for a couple, this double roundabout is on the old A5, now known as V4 Watling Street..as you approach it from the H3 Monks Way. Not sure how much longer this and the other sign will stay as signs around town are being replaced, so here they are for posterity!
