Unclassified Ring Road - Hastings

This is looking east along Priory Road in Hastings about mile before it joins the A259. Obviously its not a full ring but it forms part of an avoiding route for the A259 seafront area.

The A2101 starts at Traffic Lights at the junction with the A21 in the Hastings suburb of Hollington. It is then an alternative route to the Town Centre.

It runs along St. Helen's Road and Queens Road before terminating on the A259 east of Hastings. 2 miles long in all.

Route confirmation sign on A21 in Hastings

This is of interest to the poster (AGC2070) because, apart from a '40 mile' sign on the M26 near Sevenoaks, this is the furthest road-sign for Ashford (Kent) anywhere in the UK network.
