Hindhead Crossroads
A quiet and frosty Saturday afternoon at a normally congested junction.

The A333, formerly the A3, at Hindhead as seen from the top deck of a Stagecoach service 18 on 15th August 2011, showing work underway to convert the Grayshott junction to a mini-roundabout.

The former A3 at the Devil's Punch Bowl, now deviod of traffic and which will very soon cease to exist.

Petrol

This garage is doomed, being marooned in a dead end road as it will be. There is another one on the A287 just around the corner to the right, which is also the village store and Post Office so, I think that one will prevail.

No petrol

This one was still open in 2005 but got out early and, is now a car dealer, giving the Murco a short-lived monopoly.

Old A3 near Hindhead has been returned to nature.
