When the tunnel is open, the A3 here will be a cul-de-sac, as this sign unintentionally depicts, so one might expect the lights to be removed and, the A287 get priority. If not, at least rephased for the A287 but, once the S.C.C. get their hands on it, who knows.

Hustling through before they change again. Almost all the properties on the left are empty and grimy. Perhaps rejuvenation is just a tunnel away.

The tight turn from the London direction into the A287 southwards, will soon be no more.
