Honiton High St. - Coppermine - 14673.jpg
Honiton High St.

One of the most famous bottlenecks in the south in the 50's and early 60's, which is why relief came early, in Dec. 1966. Looking east. The A373 and A375 still pass through though.

Although this is the old A30, the A35 never ended here, because it was the A373 until 1967, just after the A30 bypass opened so, by the time it was renumbered, the A30 had already moved out of town.
