Lighting - Historical Equipment
Classic old fashioned style street light. This is just outside Lichfield Cathedral. The lantern is just so big and in your face. Ive heard that it is a Phosco P109 apparently.
AEI Amber lanterns in Oxley, just outside Wolverhampton Science Park. Very rusty and old, more than likely no longer in service.
City centre of York. This is where High Petergate, Low Petergate, Minister Gates, and Stonegate all meet together. This was the only street lighting column along here, all on it's own. Apparently it was originally an old carbon arc street light.
Wall lighting in Shrewsbury town centre. Don't know what the lantern is but I believe it runs on a cosmo lamp. Picture taken back during the Summer of 2018.
Little street light hidden away on the posh back streets of Shrewsbury town centre. Photo taken back during the Summer of 2018.
Little street lights along Victoria Avenue/Quay in Shrewsbury town centre. Photo taken back during the Summer of 2018.
Old abandoned street light outside of the Woodside pub on the outskirts of Crewe, the close up shot. Only the canopy of the original lantern remains and a new LED floodlight has just been attached instead. The old lantern looks as if it could of been either an Eleco HW type or an AEI Amber.
Old abandoned street light outside of the Woodside pub on the outskirts of Crewe, the more distant view. Only the canopy of the original lantern remains and a new LED floodlight has just been attached instead. The old lantern looks as if it could of been either an Eleco HW type or an AEI Amber.
Vintage style lantern in the foreground and Urbis Ampera Mini in the background. I think the vintage lantern is by Urbis as well but still not sure. This is just off a car-park in Tewkesbury.
Black coloured post-top columns with vintage style lanterns. I believe these are by Urbis but I'm not certain. This is on a car-park in Tewkesbury.
Old street light at RAF Cosford. This is the only there that is like this. All the other street lights there are now more modern steel columns with LED lanterns.
Unusual old lantern and swan style bracket, along with a more modern Urbis ZX2. This is just outside Shrewsbury train station, along side the castle hill. This photo was taken around 2018, I think in the Summer.
Day-burning vintage street light outside of the magistrates court and city council in Wolverhampton.

Vintage street lights with unusual Carbon Arc style lanterns and Urbis Albanys. This is outside the magistrates court and city council in Wolverhampton.
